I think recreational activities and sports are essential for kids social and physical development. 

But not every kid is cut out for the popular sports like hockey and dance. 

Jer and I were invited to visit KTSC (Kawartha Trent Synchro Club) at Trent University. 

Synchronized swimming combines swimming, dance and gymnastics underwater with a big emphasis on team work. 

Jer and I had a great time with the club. I would strongly suggest kids (BOYS TOO!) looking into synchro as a sport. The club will offer free trials too!
