Jeremy Biden aka Get Fit With Jer is 78 days into his 365 day journey yo lose 100lbs in a year.
He started in August at 335lbs. Last night when he texted me he weighed in at 297lbs. As we’ve mentioned in other blogs, the focus isn’t just on weight and pounds lost, it’s about inches and feeling better. Jeremy is feeling healthier and more energized. He’s also down TWO shirt sizes!!
But this week was one of the toughest weeks yet. Jeremy is a manager of a retail store. He has to travel a lot with his job. He has to attend conferences. Conferences aren’t the best place if you are on serious weight loss mission.
Great advice from David. Jeremy had a break from his workout schedule and he was ready to attack when he got back. He needs the support to remember he is doing AMAZING. I really empathize with Jer. Being away from home is hard. You don't sleep the same in a hotel, which makes you more tired, which makes you want sugary junk food. It's hard to fit in fitness at conferences. A lot of your free time is chewed up with networking and social meetings. One amazing thing Jer was able to do was steer clear of alcohol. Alcohol and diet or weightloss DO NOT GO TOGETHER! Kudos to Jer for picking water over Corona. Nothing makes me throw my willpower out the window like alcohol. A few drinks in and it's like "CRACK THE DORITOS AND ORDER ME SOME WINGS!!" Jeremy is doing so damn well. But healthy living is a lifestyle and not everyone is living that lifestyle. I can remember so many times people saying, "Oh just eat it, what's one chocolate bar going to do?" It takes you off course onto a dirt road. You gotta keep your eye on the prize and the people in your life need to respect that. Jeremy has is eye on the prize and he is really walking the walk. Thanks for keeping it real Jer! We look forward to this journey with you!
