Nashvegas.
Smashville.
Music City.
Different names, same place: Nashville, Tennessee.
When I heard my friend Brooke Wilkerson was hosting a “Mom’s Night Out” event in Nashville, you can bet I was going!
I’ve always wanted to experience music city and this seemed like the perfect opportunity.
But I didn’t want to go alone.
Annnnnd I don’t get a lot of one on one time with my kids, in particular, my oldest.
She’s 14, and I remember how hard it was being 14, and I thought a mother-daughter trip to Nashville would be perfect.
And it was.
Now, I have to admit seeing Nashville with a 14-year-old is a bit different than the stories I’ve heard of friends going with adults to Nashville.
I really didn’t know what a peddle bar was until I hit Broadway in Smashville.
And you know, my daughter and I never experienced it, simply just witnessed it. ?
My daughter learned a lot in Nashville. ??
We also experienced a wonderful hotel thanks to a local connection, Kevin Pickard. The Renaissance was a delight and our room and view were fabulous! I highly recommend it as a place to stay. It’s also right downtown.
I loved the Johnny Cash Museum.
The Parthenon was really cool.
12 South was cute.
The food was great.
The hospitality was incredible.
The music is exactly as you would expect: amazing.
There’s just so much talent and we had so much fun. Watch the vlog and enjoy! And if you’ve been to Nashville, share your favourite spots!
