In loving memory of Laura La Fonte

What is a death doula?

A Death Doula is comparable to a midwife in a sense. Their job is to assist you, to empower you and to bring all of your options to light. Their job is to ensure that your wishes are followed through on.

By employing a Death Doula, some stress is lifted from the family. It allows them to enjoy their time with their loved one.

Death kept coming up in Randi Coones-Williams’ life. After being faced with several losses herself, her career choice jumped out at her. Instead of running away from something that scared her, she took a course to become a Death Doula.

Randi turned so many heartbreaking situations into a much more comforting experience as loved ones say their goodbyes.

This is an intense interview with a subject matter not everyone is comfortable with, but I think it could help a lot of people.
