Ron LaChappelle knew that returning to life as a civilian after 10 years of service would require some support. Ron, a veteran himself knew that he needed support for his mental health, and so did many other veterans. From here, Project Callsign was born. Ron’s goal for Project Callsign is to create a positive impact on the mental health of our growing community.

Project Callsign is a community support network that was created to combat the mental health crisis that plagues our Veterans and Emergency Services community.

The support network they’ve created strives to ensure nobody has to battle their mental health alone. Their mission is to strengthen the Veterans and Emergency Services communities to create a positive impact on the mental health of our community members.

Our Royal Canadian Legions host events monthly to assist in creating new friendships and new support networks. Community is important and together we can make it stronger than ever before.
