If you’ve ever had a tooth ache, you know tooth pain is brutal.
My Partner, Ryan, had to have one of his wisdom teeth extracted. He and the staff at Kawartha Dental Clinic allowed me to record the extraction. We hope this helps to ease any anxiety you may have about dental procedures.

Nitrous oxide (laughing gas) can be extremely helpful when it comes to dealing with dental anxiety. It’s administered through a nose mask, mixed with oxygen. Did you know that it’s also safe for children?
Tingling in your fingers and toes, feeling relaxed or warm, teary eyes and dizziness/lightheadedness are all common signs that the nitrous oxide is working. After being placed back on oxygen, it only takes the nitrous oxide 2-3 minutes to leave your system. Contrary to popular belief, you are able to drive after the nitrous oxide has left your system.
This was Ryan’s first experience with nitrous oxide (laughing gas). Ryan did awesome, but we did learn that he is already so relaxed he doesn’t respond much to nitrous oxide.
Ryan had a bad experience with a Dentist and just never went back. When his tooth started hurting he agreed to try KDC, and he was very impressed. A good dentist will never shame you, or make you feel bad. There are a lot of great dentists at KDC, and I’m glad Ryan is now one of their patients!
I also have to tell you that Ryan stopped by the farm on the way home because he had to check on the new calves, a true farmer he is.
