So many people are unhappy with where they are in life. I hope this story inspires you to chase your dreams.
Almost anything is possible with hard work and dedication.
From serving coffee to owning her own practice, this woman put in the work. Kelly Cormack now owns her own Chiropractic practice.
After consecutive injuries from repeated motions and some contemplation, it was time. Kelly moved to the United States with her 2 young children to go to Chiropractic College. Her program was incredibly demanding. As a result, working and completing her program wasn’t an option.
She applied for a loan and was accepted. Every 2 months she reapplied and those funds got her through school – mostly. So, what do you do when you have 4 trimesters left and they tell you there’s no money left to lend? How do you pay for tuition? Not to mention the 2 kids to feed, a house to pay for and no job.
Thankfully, Kelly’s mom stepped up to help her get through those last few months. Once Kelly completed Chiropractic College, she came back home. She now owns Cormack Chiropractic Care. She sees patients only 1 day old to 100 years old.
Her children got to return to their same school, welcomed with open arms. Although it was difficult for the kids when they first left, the experience was well worth it. They got to learn American history and often taught Kelly little facts.
The moral of the story – you can. Even when you think you can’t, hold onto hope, work your tail off and make it happen. It won’t happen overnight. There will be ups and downs along the way. But that’s okay!
As always, thank you to JJ Stewart Motors for their continued investment in these interviews. When we know each other, we are stronger and more united.
