Smiles are contagious. So many people want a beautiful smile.

Come along with us as we learn the difference between traditional braces and Invisalign from Dr. Ed Segura!

Traditional braces and Invisalign are 2 different approaches to creating a straighter smile. While traditional braces are common for youth and young adults, Invisalign is great for adults who want straighter teeth without drawing attention to their braces.
Cost, comfort and the time frame are some factors to consider when you and your dentist are deciding which is best for you. Each person is different and what may be ideal for you, might not be for the next patient.
With Invisalign, generally your treatment plan follows a change in aligner every 2 weeks. Each aligner has been made to adjust your teeth as you wear it. Traditional braces are a little different and require dentist visits with each adjustment. Depending on your geographic location, that might also be something to consider when deciding on your treatment plan.
If you’re looking to straighten out your smile, you’ll be well taken care of by the team at KDC. Kawartha Dental Clinic is accepting new patients, no referral needed. To book your appointment, give them a call at 705-743-1851 or visit their website.

If you’ve ever had a tooth ache, you know tooth pain is brutal. My Partner, Ryan, had to have one of his wisdom teeth extracted. He and the staff at Kawartha Dental Clinic allowed me to record the extraction. We hope this helps to ease any anxiety you may have about dental procedures. Click HERE to watch
