Last night I had the pleasure of emceeing Handbags for Hospice. A fundraiser for our local chapter of a national organization that cares for families and patients dealing with terminal illness and end of life.
It’s an amazing organization. Death is part of life. Hospice makes it a manageable part of life.

The event was a hoot! I met an auctionista!! The Auctionista to be precise.  Linda Leja was fabulous!  She brought amazing energy to the event!  I can’t wait to work with her more!  I smell a MF interview coming on!

Pamela Birrell (middle) knows the value Hospice.  Her son James died at the age of 8 of neuroblastoma.  Pamela is working with Hospice to help families whose children need palliative care.

IMG_4784.JPG How fun is an event without some drag queens??? “Edna & Wilma” lightened the mood with a fun skit called “Old Spice for Old Bags”
