As fun as this segment was to shoot, and as hard as it was to keep a straight face while a puppet screamed at me, I hope you do take this message seriously:

I know how stupid texting and driving is, I really do and quite frankly for me, just like Constable Kenny said, I need better time management. I do 90% of my business on my phone, like a lot of people do. When I’m driving I feel like I need to utilize my time and get work done. This segment really reminded me how absolutely ridiculous it is to text and drive.
THERE IS NO REASON TO DO IT. EVER. WHATEVER IT IS, IT CAN WAIT!

I also wanted to share this next video. It is part of the “x” campaign launched by AT&T. It is a 34 minute long documentary called “From One Second to the Next- Texting While Driving Documentary-Werner Zerhog”.
The beginning of the video shows a young boy who is paralyzed and on life support because a woman ran a stop sign while texting and driving and hit the young boy who was walking on the side of the road hanging on to his sister’s hand. That woman could have been me. That woman could be you.
