Dan O’Toole & The Fox Sports Live Set

When in LA, email people you know and beg them to hang out with you….that’s the saying right?

I emailed Dan O’Toole (yes he too is from my hometown of Peterborough ON). Dan agreed he would acknowledge my existence and we set a date!  He met my husband and I at the front gates of Fox Studios (after I got lost like three times trying to figure out which of the 10 gates to enter).  IT IS MASSIVE.

Dan gave us a quick tour of the truly impressive space, home of The Simpsons, Modern Family and every other show and movie you can think of! There’s even a New York Street.  Honestly if you’ve never seen the sets of these massive giant studios, try to go and see it.  They offer public tours and it is such an impressive industry with so many facets.  The world of TV and film is so amazing!

Dan works in the FOX Sports building.  He is the co-host of Fox Sports Live with Jay Onrait.  He let us sneak in while they taped one of their shows (I only had to sell my soul to convince him to let us in;)
