It was just an idea, as all great things are.
Why not bring fresh lobster across three provinces and have a lobster fest in Lakefield Ontario so we can raise money for local sports and the community?!
The Lakefield & District Lions Club is incredible. If your kids play sports in the area or use the Morton Community Healthcare Centre, you can thank a Lion.
But one event has captured the attention of many. The annual Lobsterfest has doubled in size and has become one of the summer highlights for the village of Lakefield. This year the fest had 900lbs of fresh east coast lobster and world famous entertainers.
They have raised over $250,000 toward community programs, the Lakefield Lions Clubs are AMAZING!!!

UPDATE: If you want tickets for June 3, 2017, they are first come, first serve and go on sale April 29th and 30th 9-3 pm at Marshland Centre in Lakefield. Tickets are $60 and cash or cheque only is accepted.
