As many of you know, The Ontario Science Centre really is one of our favourite places.  Every time I visit, I’m reminded to take the time and let kids touch, feel, explore and ask questions.  The staff is sooo amazing.  They are so patient and encouraging with the kids.

AND I only lost Marcello once while we were there 😉

Who knew?! And my husband wanted me to throw mine out! I’ve had it since grade 7? #wildweatherTO Ontario Science Centre

What I love most about the #wildweatherTO exhibit is the conversation it started for our family.  We talked about climate change, we talked about preparing for an emergency, we talked about the science between a hurricane and a tornado.

Marcello is assessing what you need in case of an emergency and severe weather. He told me right after looking at this, that we are NOT PREPARED.

The exhibit is awesome for all ages.  For the older tween to adult it has great interesting content, to the wee ones who wanna dance up a storm (literally).

img_6982.jpgThe Science Centre has somehow successfully created an interactive, hands on, educational weather exhibit for all ages.

This picture is hilarious, instead of being swept away by the hurricane, we are obviously too cool and chill. My hair isn’t even windblown!!!

I met one Mom who brought her daughter because she’s afraid of tornadoes, in hopes the exhibit would help alleviate that fear.  I can totally relate, The Wizard of Oz put the fear of tornadoes in me from a very young age. The Wild Weather Exhibit has the coolest interactive tornado zone, it didn’t make me scared, it made me laugh.  It made me wonder.

And in case there was any doubt we had fun, just watch this (36 seconds):

Safe to say we like it. #wildweatherTO #learningisfun #parenting @ontariosciencecentre

My Lucky 7 List of How to Get Along After Separation and Divorce

I can honestly say divorce is the hardest thing I have ever experienced in my life, and without going into a lot of detail, that says a lot. Why?  Why is it so crippling? Because of your thoughts and the lies your mind tells you. Your mind tells you you failed.  Your mind tells you
