My kids love staying at hotels. They are a great age (13, 10 and 7) to travel. They are independent yet still wanna hang out with us. Over the Christmas holidays, we had a chance to visit Bonnie View Inn in Haliburton, Ontario. We stayed in one of their cottages, which was perfect for a family of 5 or more! Here’s look at our room:
Bonnie View Inn has an authentic family fun atmosphere. There was a game room with a PAC-MAN video game, movie rentals, and board games you can take to your room. There was also snowshoeing, hiking and skating, with toboggans, snowshoes, and skates are all available right at the inn. You don’t have to worry about packing any of that stuff!
My kids had a blast. Watch the VLOG to see our adventures in tobogganing! Who remembers that sliver long toboggan and putting as many people as possible on it?? Such a childhood flashback and a memory I’m thrilled my kids now have too!
There’s nothing like travelling with family. These are the memories that’ll last them a lifetime and I think it’s so valuable to spend time together, exploring new cities, taking in the sights, and especially seeing as much of our province as possible. Ontario is a gorgeous place to live and if you’ve never been to the Haliburton area, it’s definitely worth a visit. There’s so much to do, no matter what time of year you go.
