You may already know that I’m a big ambassador for The James Fund, an organization dedicated to raising awareness and funding to support neuroblastoma research in honour of a little boy named James Birrell who was lost to the childhood cancer when he was just eight years old.
Each year I am honoured to be the emcee at their charity golf tournament, and with the 10th Annual Nexicom James Fund Golf Classic coming up early next month, I got to be on hand to shoot a video as one of their BIG auction items was unwrapped at the Birrell house.
And when Tom Hanks sends you a package, you get REALLY excited to see what’s inside!
Tom Hanks is The Honourary Chair of The James Fund. He has always been incredibly gracious to help with the cause and this year, the donation is pretty incredible.

If you follow Tom on Twitter, you might be able to guess because it’s something he talks about a LOT on social media.
Watch the video above to see what Tom sent for the 10th Annual Nexicom James Fund Golf Classic and be sure to check out the website to get tickets so you can bid on this exclusive Tom Hanks autographed item during the live auction. The money raised will support families managing the unimaginable stress of neuroblastoma.

Even if you don’t golf, you can come out to support the cause in other ways. Trust me, I’m NOT a golfer, so you don’t need to bring your putter to have a good time. It’s all for a fantastic cause and you’ll meet some amazing people too. You might even bring home a gift from Tom Hanks himself 😉
I’ll see you at the Kawartha Golf and Country Club in Peterborough, Ontario on June 5th!
