Have you ever been to Canada’s largest theme waterpark? Calypso Waterpark is located just 30 minutes east of Ottawa in Limoges, Ontario and it’s a must!
The wave pool is insane and was definitely our family’s favourite part. The staff were also incredibly helpful and my family had a great time! Also, kids under one metre tall get in for FREE. Bonus!
There’s a great variety for families of all ages. Even our 13 year old loved it. There were slides that were just dangerous enough for her, but lots more that she didn’t work up the courage to try that would be great for older kids and adults who love the thrill of steep water slides.
Here are a few tips for visiting Calypso:
- Pack a lunch, the food there is good, but there are so many great picnic areas that packing a picnic would be really fun too!
- Rent a locker (or two if you have loads of stuff) for $10 for the day
- Parking is $10 and you can visit their website to see a list of ticket prices
