The holiday season is here. Time for fun hair, makeup, jewelry, shoes and fun fashion!
I recently emceeed an event for Hospice Peterborough and I got all fancy thanks to some of my favourite clients.
RW&CO. in Lansdowne Place hooked me up with a dress that really caught my eye one day while window shopping.
This emerald lace beauty is really well made. I loved how it felt and the best part: IT HAS POCKETS!!
Next I chose my jewellery. At first I wanted the long necklace the model wore.
But then I thought hmmm I’d like to change it up and try the choker trend.
For my hair I wanted a ballerina inspired top bun. I wanted the focus to be the dress and choker, so I thought my hair up would achieve that!
Charlie from Salon Sorella & Day Spa used a bun sock I brought to give it a nice round shape and more volume. She added some fun and interest to the bun with a braid in the front and the back.
My biggest struggle in getting fancy this time of year is staying warm. This dress is great but not super warm. You could easily add tights and a cardigan or jacket to add warmth.
