I recently over heard some parents complaining about the unbalanced shifts and lack of ice time their kids were getting.
Shortly before I overheard that conversation (one I’ve heard MANY times before), I volunteered to help commentate for my son’s hockey game.
I watched the coaches on the bench. I watched the referees. I watched the players. I watched the parents.
It inspired a MF’s Post Run Rant. Here it is:

I think we all know the coaches are volunteers and doing their best, but sometimes we need a reminder. Here is the little video I recorded while in the time clock box. The young girl Alex has some interesting insight on what she’s seen in that box especially from parents!
