Everything happens in Lakefield, Ontario! I recently had a chance to chat with the founder of Loch, a local startup that makes sunglasses using 500-year-old wood from the Great Lakes.
Instead of using new wood, ie. chopping down more trees, they are using old wood from the Great Lakes and the end product is GORGEOUS. Watch the vlog above to learn more about the company and to meet Tim, the man behind the lenses, and his adorable kids aka marketing team 😉
Loch recently won the Bears’ Lair competition and they have a Kickstarter campaign going on to introduce their sunglasses to the world. Spoiler alert: The Kickstarter ends July 7th and they’ve already crushed their first goal. Way to go!
You can also find Loch on Facebook and Instagram.
